10 SKINCARE SECRETS FOR GLOWING AND BEAUTIFUL SKIN

The day is getting longer, the hot days are getting longer and our clothes are getting less and less exposing our skin to public view! So follow 10 simple tips for beautiful, firm and youthful skin!

1. Use sunscreen before going out. In addition to its valuable contribution to the prevention of skin cancers
can actually slow down the aging process. Choose the right one for your skin as long as it has an SPF of at least 30.

2. Stop smoking! Smoking accelerates the aging process! In addition any wound that occurs on your skin will take longer to heal.

3. Do a self-examination for skin cancer. Examining your skin carefully can help you detect a cancer early. If you notice a mole or scar that is different from the rest, that changes, itches or bleeds, go straight to your dermatologist!

4. If you are a fan of tanned skin, it's time to choose a self-tanning product. Every time you tan from either the sun or a tanning bed you are causing premature aging as well as increasing your risk of skin cancer. A self-tanning product can give you the look you desire without the risks of radiation. However, to maintain healthy skin, protect it from the sun even when using self-tanning products.

5. Use beauty products suitable for your own skin. What type of skin do you have, oily, dry, normal, combination or sensitive? Do you have a skin condition? Using the right products for your own skin will help it to be radiant and look youthful.

6. Resist the urge to rub it vigorously until any rash disappears. If you develop an acne rash or something else you don't recognize, don't rub your skin vigorously! Rubbing irritates the skin and actually makes any rash, dryness or acne flare-up worse.

7. Wash your face when you wake up, before bedtime and when you sweat. Early morning washing removes bacteria and unnecessary substances that your skin secretes while you sleep. Before bedtime it removes excess make up, oil and smoke that have settled on your skin during the day.

8. Gently wash your face. Gentle cleansing helps the face look healthy. Wet your face with lukewarm water. Then apply a gentle cleanser in a circular motion with your fingers. Finish by rinsing your face with plenty of water and wipe it off with a clean towel.

9. Reduce stress. Finding healthy ways to manage stress helps your skin too. Skin conditions like psoriasis and atopic dermatitis often first appear under conditions of intense stress. In addition, stress can cause many skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea to flare up.

10. Visit your dermatologist if something is causing you concern about your skin.

As far as the skin is concerned, the dermatologists are the experts. They can diagnose and treat thousands of different skin diseases. They also have the knowledge and training to help renew and care for the skin safely.
