SKIN NODULE REMOVAL

Benign skin tumours are the papillomas, the ants, the hemangiomas, the hypercapacities and the lipomas.

The ones we encounter most often are papillomas which are skin-coloured skin patches or brown patches usually hanging from a thin stalk, the well-known ¨moles¨. They appear around the neck, eyelids, eyelids, armpits, in the submandibular and microbubonic area and are caused by HPV, the human papilloma virus (Human Papilova Virus).

They increase in number when the body is in stress (pregnancy or childbirth or when there is low immunity).

All benign skin nodules are removed with cryotherapy, cauterization, laser or surgical treatment if they have a large size and base. Their removal is considered appropriate when friction or injury due to their position (neck chains, etc.) favours their proliferation and increase in size.
